All are welcome to attend this support group for family and friends of those with dementia and other memory impairments. This group allows care partners to problem-solve, discuss issues, and connect with each other regarding dementia in every-day life. This group will also include practical resources and guest speakers throughout the year.

This group is held the first Monday of the month in person at the Lorton Library. All support groups are free and open to the public.

Memory care offers a specialized environment tailored to meet the unique needs of seniors with dementia and other memory-related conditions. Gaining a deeper understanding of how dementia is diagnosed and how it affects the brain can help care partners feel better prepared for the path ahead.

This class is presented by the Insight team & Synergy Home Care at Lansdowne Heights.

Join us to meet other people with Parkinson’s and their families as we learn from local experts and encourage each other, and leave with a feeling of hope and purpose that you can get the most out of life, maintain your independence, and continue to enjoy all that life has to offer.
