 d the Memory Disorders Program in 2014. She received her Master of Science
  in Nursing degree from George Mason University in collaboration with Geor
 ge Washington University in 2007. She previously worked as a Hospice NP tr
 eating terminally ill older adults. Prior to hospice\, she participated in
  a private neurology practice. Currently\, Melanie specializes in evaluati
 ng and treating patients with memory problems\, and functions as a clinici
 an in the research program. She is also a member of the American Academy o
 f Nurse Practitioners and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Asso
